Question(s):

The concept of Overledger is highly advantageous as it can reduce the single point of failure evident in integrating just one Blockchain. However, does this not create a single point of failure in the Overledger operating system? Could you describe how you have mitigated this vulnerability? How does Quant assure individuals and enterprises that when using Overledger - no data are sent to a third party without permission (ex. NSA, Facebook's Cambridge Analytica mess)? Thanks.

Knowing our background in Security, we have built in security by design into every aspect of our technology. From a confidentiality and integrity perspective our customers sign and encrypt all the transactions that go through Overledger with their keys. We or any 3rd party can't see any of the content even if they tried.

To build upon this question, could 2nd layer solutions such as secret smart contracts such as what Engima has developed, be used to protect the data?

Answer(s):

Hi Rez
To build upon this question, could 2nd layer solutions such as secret smart contracts such as what Engima has developed, be used to protect the data?
We already have our version of Zero Knowledge Proofs using TrustTag - allowing you to use public permissionless blockchains with safety and security built in. The breakthrough we had with multi-chain smart contracts (we call Treaty Contracts) has been accelerated and we're bringing that capability to all the blockchains that connect to Overledger even if they don't have smart contract capabilities. Security is built into treaty contracts

Question(s):

Just an idea to add some marketing. Have you considered partnering up with Ledger to design a limited edition nano ledger engraved with Quant logo or something? I would be stoked to get one and it might give some publicity and lines up with the security image quant likes to give.

Question(s):

Do you get push back from companies on the fact that whatever data they store on public blockchains might be unencrypted by quantum computers in [X] amount of years?

Answer(s):

David Wattebled
Do you get push back from companies on the fact that whatever data they store on public blockchains might be unencrypted by quantum computers in [X] amount of years?
Technically quantum computers can't break one-time pad encryption no matter how powerful they are. People have already started quantum-proofing encryption and also blockchains. It's something the industry is prepared for and will solve to prevent and we're not seeing any client we've talked to too concerned

Question(s):

Could you share a little more about Quant Health? Is it just an idea atm or do you have a roadmap or some possible interesents already? The idea itself is amazing and could solve some really big issues in healthcare field. Are there any plans of dealing with personal medical data?...something like a MApp that could be used by patients which would allow you to access and manipulate with your data as you wish...you could even be rewarded for sharing your data with interested party and get paid for that. Another thing is drugs and medical supply tracebility... There are other projects already working on that (MediBlok, TimiHealth...) but as I see it Quant Health could do that much faster and easier with Overledger OS integrating with existing helathcare systems and MApps on top of that? Thank you for your answers!

The idea for TrustTag that Colin has was to solve the counterfeit problem in supply chains. It can do that plus it evolved to prevent fraud.
