All our roadmap was based on the estimates we did in 2017 for the TGE and with many assumptions including the raise. As things are different we've re-baselined our roadmap and we're aiming for the 1st half of 2019 for the MApp Store

Perfect, thanks for the update

"Congrats to Gilbert and the team for a fantastic interview with BCB. A Q for the AMA: Has there been any interest in, or exploration into, the use of DLT supply chain solutions to solve the problem of frictionless trade between the UK and EU? To me there is a clear use case of tracking specific goods across borders that must satisfy certain EU equivalency quality regulations. As an example, the EU requires meat products entering the trading zone to be of an equivalent standard to their regulations. The UK and EU govt could utilise sensors by ambrosus, vechain etc to ensure that the ‘meat’ products that entered a lorry from farm A are in no way tampered with en route and use DLT to trust each shipment coming across the border, enabling a degree of frictionless trade. Similar use case for pharma products entering the EU from the UK."

Good question. Next Monday we're meeting with HMRC (Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs) with the team that currently has built a blockchain solution PoC for trade between borders. They're interested in using Overledger to allow any connectivity from any existing system or blockchain for their solution and to give trade partners choice. Plus it provides better resillience by not limiting them to a single blockchain or technology. Great use case for us

My main concern is that Overledger will not reach a critical mass of adoption and people will not realise its true potential, so we aim to bring as much awareness to the marketplace and the Overledger technology as possible. - How does Quant aim to tackle these concerns going forward?"

This is why we're Enterprise focused and meeting large companies and Government each week to help solve their blockchain challenges. By working with large organisations, our technology get pushed out to all their customers which if they're a large bank of Government is in the millions of users. That's how we're bringing awareness and real world usage of Overledger to the masses.

Regarding bank client, october is soon coming to an end. Can we expect news this week?

To clarify, I specifically said we hope to by the end of October. This is all dependent on internal approvals. We will announce what we can when we can.

Question(s):

AMA: any plans to launch an ‘Enterprise Overledger Alliance’ for clients/partners to share ideas/use cases and provide you with feedback to help shape the roadmap and drive adoption? (Similar to the Ethereum Alliance - but focused on Mapps and Overledger).

We have seen in the PwC and Deloitte Enterprise Surveys that companies are willing to join consortiums to work on blockchain. Our plan has always been to foster an ecosystem to create new innovation and technology. An alliance or consortium is a safe way for companies to experiment with new technology

The enterprise exchange we have in mind will provide OTC trading - so when a large company wants to buy tokens they can ring their own trader to place orders.

It does feel like that.

No we haven't built that functionality. But there is an idea to be able to do something to help the ecosystem

We've seen the plethora of companies/governments you been taking meetings with and hopefully they are mostly positive but what are the main concerns companies have in regards to dipping their toes into the space?

The main hesistation we're seeing from Enterprise is they don't like to be limited to a single technology or vendor

Yep we have that as part of our marketing effort, it's coming

Question(s):

I think that a lot of information as example Health/Wealth will not be stored on a public blockchain Eth,Bitcoin network etc.. and certainly not banks and governments(from which I understand your largest customers)... Are you as a team also going to build these private chains for your clients "ledgers" (store information) for them?

We can connect any private/public blockchain. If using a public blockchain, using the capability of Overleger, we allow Enterprise and Developers to enable Privacy flags to seamlessly tokenise and encrypt data.

So if your client wishes 20% Ethereum network and 80% Bitcoin network for storage will you implement a hardfork of the network, So they can use it only privately?

No, you really have to disassociate from thinking purely blockchain. We're an OS that allows for the reading and writing of data from source to destination chains. If there is a fork, Overledger will make sure it is written to the right fork. We're not forking any blockchain to make it work with Overledger.

Thank you, haven't seen that comment from Vitalik - but it is one way to look at it!

Thank you. It's been a great change from being a CISO responsible for Cybersecurity to building new technology. The exciting bit is that we are in an uncharted space and creating new innovation each day!
