- Quant collaborating with major traditional exchanges.
- Lots of existing dApp developers could make use of Overledger, for example the “Qoogle” mApp could be used by a dApp developer such as Etherscan to be able to scan any Blockchain, a dApp developer such as Metamask could develop multi-chain signing app with Overledger.
- Quant in talks with Huobi for listing QNT tokens.
- Potential Partnership between Samsung and Quant in the making.
- Overledger to feature smart contract functionality across all connected blockchains, including ones that don’t support smart contracts, such as Bitcoin, without a fork.
- Quant Network meeting with Data 61 (the digital innovation arm of Australia’s national science agency) and hinting at possible announcements.
- Quant Network: “A LOT of very high-profile partnerships in flight”.
- Quant Network engaged with a government project in China, and currently roadmApping the China-focussed DLTs.
- Quant Network looking at potential US partners to meet client demand.
- Quant’s patents (on TrustTag and the verification block) cover mechanisms that are believed to be the only way to carry out effective cross-chain transactions. The verification block solves the issue that a transaction set may fork, which is the only way to solve this issue beyond time-locking.
- Quant sees increased demand for their in-house developed chain, which offers more space for data storage. (The in-house chain will be connected to Overledger, just like any other chain).
- Overledger eliminates possible Single Point Of Failures (SPoF). The ability to eliminate SPoF is essential for enterprise adoption. Enterprises simply reject solutions with SPoF.
- Overledger connector pattern for community developers to be released very soon.
- Quant Network offering multiple Hackathons in 2019. Quant Certifications to be available.

HIGHLIGHTS SUMMARY
- Partnership between the Atlantic Power Exchange and Quant Network for building an Energy Trading Platform on Overledger for trading between closed- and open P2P networks.
- Quant to start looking into integrating Overledger with SAP and other ERP systems.
- Overledger showcasing its capabilities with a decentralised Amazon multi-chain application that operates across 3 blockchains. Live Demos to follow over next weeks and during QuantX inaugural event.
- Quant to announce integration Overledger with Zapier to bridge the thousands of internet applications to blockchain, and allowing Enterprises to connect the data from their Apps (Excel, CRMs, ERPs) into Overledger – as well as cross-connect blockchains.
- Groundbreaking: Quant to allow every single Internet application to integrate with Blockchain through Overledger.
- London Fraud Conference resulted in a Government lead, with a follow-up meeting this week.
- Quant’s Patent covers the ordering and filtering methods to protect the inner core of Overledger. Other projects cannot use their methods for interoperability.
- Quant developing Security infrastructure in the space of Identity, Firewall, DPI and IPS on top of Overledger, giving additional security controls to use blockchains, which don’t exist today.
- Quant to release Overledger Java SDK next.
- TrustTag, a Quant Network technology, allows developers to set privacy fields to tokenise data which they don’t want others to see.
- An inhouse-developed blockchain, which can be accessed by Overledger, can be used as a Test bed easily scratched and reset and/or a simple ledger for immutable storage – for e.g. when Zapier allows Excel data to flow. It’s an enterprise-geared blockchain that provides better-distributed storage for large amounts of data. This is a gap in the market, which the current-generation blockchains are not solving.
- mApps currently being developed for financial institutions include GoVerify, and a Cross-Trade Finance mApp to allow multiple supply chains using different systems and blockchains to talk to each other, and a cross-blockchain AML Compliance tool for Regulators and Financial Institutions. In addition, Quant Network is building mApps to utilise the QNT Token.
- QNT Token will have many purposes beyond the fee structure. This is the beauty of a utility token vs. a security token. More will be revealed when the tech is finalised.
- Token Usage is a priority now that the SDK is out. Quant has a team of internal and external technical, lawyers and economists on this. It’s a new model, which hasn’t been done before. It will have a flexible pricing approach for mApps for developers.
- Quant’s inaugural event QuantX will be held on 20 Nov, and will be primarily targeting developers, architects and CIOs, including existing clients. Quant will be providing live demos of the technology, showing what is possible, and answering questions.
- Quant Network’s Marketing is primarily focused on Enterprises. It covers all channels to get the best possible segment and reach. For the list of channels, please see the underlying message.
- Gilbert and Quant have been featured in the New York Times, New Scientist Magazine, Politico, USNews, and in an op ed published on Fox. Gilbert has been doing 1:1 briefings with the most senior staff members from the Washington Post, CNN, MSNBC, and Bloomberg. They all know Gilbert now, and if they want to write articles about blockchain and need quotes and background info, they will be able to approach him.

- Seamless user experience for buying and holding QNT to access the Overledger Platform.
- GoVerify (which will run on Overledger): Plan is to have an independent trusted 3rd party that people can trust, who will verify that the organisations contacting them are genuine.
- Connecting Overledger with Zapier, as a gateway to 1000s of developers, possible with Overledger’s BPI (Blockchain Programming Interface).
- Plans to attract developers and expand the developer ecosystem include meetings with developers (first one in November) as well as hackathons together with techstars.
- Quant largest advantage: Giving Enterprises and Developers choice to not rely on a single blockchain, allowing them to safely and easily have better resilience, more options and no lock-in to technology or vendors.

- Blockchains to be connected to Overledger, selected based on client- and market demand.
- Most developed client relationships include two engagements in Healthcare and in Banking.
- Quant Tokens available for purchase on exchange.quant.network as an easy alternative to buying on exchanges.
- Quant in talks with a number of exchanges, incl. Huobi and LAToken. ETHfinex or Bitfinex exchange on Quant’s list as well. Feedback from the community will be taken into account. Exchanges need be regulated and reputable. Approach is taking into account both retail crypto users and Enterprises.
- Quant only announcing real clients and partnerships with actual value, and only when both parties are in acceptance.
- Granting of EU patent filing will be decided in Summer 2019. Patent also being filed in other jurisdictions.
- Overledger is the only solution based on a protocol with ANY:ANY interoperability and with true enterprise grade ability to use multiple blockchains simultaneously.
- Quant Network considers a two-tiered Token Usage scheme an interesting approach. Current work in progress takes into account economical and technical aspects, and current thinking evolves around users needing to hold $x amount of QNT Tokens for accessing Overledger and running mApps.
- QNT not a payment/currency, rather a utility to access Overledger and run mApps. Users pay for mApps in fiat and possibly other crypto (ETH/BTC). For writing to destination chains, the chains’ gas fees are needed as well, however the process will be streamlined and easy for developers.
- Quant is exploring building a mApp-based decentralised exchange (e.g. on top of existing exchanges) with the right regulatory licenses and approvals, and sufficient capital in the longer term. A Multi-Chain DEX would be a good use case of Quant’s technology.
- SDK (Software Development Kit) and Developer Hub to be released by end of September.
- Quant ramping up activities across fronts, including recruiting a Chief Marketing Officer, Digital Marketing Associate, and Communications Associate.

- QNT Token function and utility will be multi-purpose.
- Treasury function will be out closer to the mApp Store release date.
- QNT Tokens were issued as an ERC20 Token, as the ethereum blockchain has the most usage. Independent of that, Quant has built a blockchain to meet a gap that enterprises have. This blockchain focuses on the data space and gives people an option to Hyperledger. It is not production-ready yet. Aim is to release it 1st half of next year. There will not be any new Tokens. It will be connected to Overledger just like any other Blockchain, and Overledger will be the only way to connect to it.
- Quant Network strictly adheres to FINMA compliance and regulation without exceptions.
- By regulation, Quant Network is not able to refer to specific future events unless they are strictly utility-related. Exchange listings are not strictly utility related.
- Quant Network CEO is extremely well-connected, also through his previous engagements at Downing St, HM Treasury, Cabinet Office, and Ministry of Justice, and current engagements in Parliament’s DLT for Public Good Committee and as Chair of the DLT for Healthcare Committee.
- Quant Network CEO has a long history with Blockchain, already introducing Bitcoin to the UK Government to in 2009.
- Governments have started with Governance Blockchain Projects, either by implementing blockchain or making policy to adopt it.

HIGHLIGHTS SUMMARY
- Quant very likely to be integrating with SWIFT at some point. As with all integrations, it will be based on demand.
- Overledger facilitates atomic swaps across multiple blockchains as it uses two-phase commits for transactions.
- Use cases for Overledger include tracking goods across borders; tracking the supply chain of agricultural products from farm to table; travel across borders with advance passenger information and pre-departure / check-in.
- Any application that stands to benefit from avoiding single-ledger dependency is a potential use case for Quant. Single-ledger dependent DApps are exposed to risks such as volatility, clogged network speeds, and high switching costs. A large category of these exciting new use cases are Multi-Chain Applications, that enable interaction between private and public blockchains. For more examples, see the Q&A messages below.
- Overledger is unique and solves the interoperability problem in a different way than its closest competitors. Quant Brand is still relatively unknown. Initial Marketing opportunities will include a visit to Washington USA with a planned TV appearance and major announcements and partnerships as the project matures.
- Quant Network CEO has >20y IT experience with an emphasis on digital security. He has held top information security positions alongside notable employers such as Ernst & Young, the Bank of England, and the U.S. Federal Reserve System. His security expertise is a central motivator behind Quant’s strategy and focus on digital asset protection, as well as enterprise-level cooperation and adoption.
- Quant Network CEO is the lead of the ISO/TC 307 Blockchain and distributed ledger technologies. All the work in ISO is open and collaborative. Quant is creating a technology that is ISO compatible.
- Ethereum and Bitcoin will be first two blockchains connected to Overledger.
- Overledger can directly read messages embedded into Blockchains, and has no need to handle any kind of information routing like other interoperability solutions do.
- Overledger size is not affected by amount of transactional data, as Overledger is simply a model and a protocol for communicating across blockchains; information storage is largely delegated to the underlying blockchains.
- The idea behind Overledger vs. other Interoperability solutions is to simplify the process of developing Multi-chain applications. No new language required.
- Quant will publish SDKs in various languages. The community can create their own mApps on demand.

HIGHLIGHTS SUMMARY
- Overledger reduces the typical complexity and overhead of other interoperability solutions by offering a protocol for interoperability instead of another blockchain on top of existing blockchains.
- Quant will connect to main 1st gen blockchains and then other blockchains based on demand. The tech is open-source and Quant will work with the community to connect other blockchains using open APIs and connectors.
- Quant Network in talks with Cisco to look at integrating blockchain routing in their Switches
- Enterprise customers are investing heavily in blockchain. Quant is giving them choice and options to have flexibility and resilience to use Overledger with any blockchain, so they’re not limited or tied to one. Enterprise customers will not necessarily have to rely on permissioned/private blockchains. A hybrid option with Overledger allows for interacting with any desired chain, as needed, which can be migrated at any time. Overledger allows for transforming Distributed Apps into Multi-Chain Apps for the ability to use multiple blockchains in order to get the best features of each one. And ultimately for bridging the internet as well.
- Overledger features true Internet <-> Blockchain Interoperability
- Quant is building a foundational technology that has the potential to make much more of an impact than traditional cryptocoins.
- Quant approaching interoperability, which is highly demanded by enterprises, in a unique and internet-scalable way. Quant’s core technology is patented.
- Unlike other interoperability blockchains like AION-1, Cosmos, Polkadot etc, which add another blockchain on top of another one, Quant is routing between blockchains without adding any overhead or consensus whilst respecting the speed and rules of the underlying blockchains.
- Overledger is simplifying the abstraction layer in the high-level languages, starting with main ones in Ruby, Java, Python, so developers don’t have to worry about the low-level C,C++ complex languages when building Multi Chain Applications (mApps).
- Overledger is not affected by the forks or updates of underlying blockchains because it’s abstracting the messaging layer from the transaction layer, sitting above it.
- Quant approached by 5 exchanges in the last 2 weeks. Exploring listings in line with their regulatory requirements.
- Quant tackles marketing in a professional, corporate manner with one of the best PR firms in Washington. Press coverage through papers, television, and online. Quant has been covered in the New Scientist, NY Times, and Nasdaq . More coverage by the NY Times and Politico are scheduled in a few weeks. TV interviews and coverage by other major news outlets will follow.
- Gilbert Verdian (CEO) is taking part in shaping the Blockchain ISO Standard to open up proprietary technologies and networks, and give Enterprises choice and flexibility. Overledger embodies best practices for blockchain features in compliance with the ISO standard.
